Organic at Landidyll
Since September 2001 foodstuffs from organic agriculture can be labelled with the state organic seal. This small, hexagonal symbol with the slogan "Bio" helps to ensure clarity, standardisation and orientation for organic and ecological products.
Consumers can depend on this: " 'Bio' on the label means 'Bio' inside". Because only producers and manufacturers that meet the terms of the EU organic directive and submit to the prescribed inspections are permitted to sell their products as organic or eco goods and label them with the Bio seal.
